Estelle lived a full and rich life. She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who spent as much time as possible with her family. She was an artist and loved to teach others to draw and paint. She never missed a birthday, graduation, sporting event or special occasion with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was called “Sitta” by everyone, including her grandchildren’s friends! Her favorite pastime was eating out, it didn’t matter where as long as she didn’t have to cook or clean-up. The bigger the group to join her the better. She never met a stranger and made everyone feel important, loved, and welcome.

Estelle graduated from Cathedral High School in Nashville, Tennessee in 1955 and worked at St. Henry’s School when her children were young and later at the Diocese of Nashville as Advertising Manager of the Tennessee Register. She later became Rectory Manager and St. Henry’s Church and loved being part of her church community. Later in life she worked part-time at Walgreens in Bellevue where she loved helping others, especially her co-workers. She will be remembered for always being willing to do for others, a trait she passed along to her family.
