William Johnston Iii

William Pershing Johnston III, age 58, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on June 1, 2022. Preceded in death by stepbrother Joe Dowdy.

Johnston III survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Debbie Johnston, son, Taz (Ivie) Johnston, daughters, Becky (Rob) Pendleton, Kayla Pendleton and Stephanie (Chris) Pendleton, grandchildren, William Johnston V, Waylon Johnston, Freya Johnston, April Monk, Cameron Sutton, Jalen Dansby, Daphne Lee, Devin Lee and Brynlee Monk, parents, William (June) Johnston Jr. and Linda (Ray) Dowdy as well as his chickens and beloved Pitbull dog Pearl.

Johnston III was a loving, husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, car racing with his wife and adored his grandkids deeply. He never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

There will be a visitation Monday June 6, 2022, from 9:30 am until service 11:30 am. All held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100 Nashville, TN 37221.
