Roy Hughes

Roy James Morgan Hughes, age 94, passed away on June 4, 2022, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Mr. Hughes preceded in death by his parents, Halvy Hughes and Mary Staples, sisters, Mary Fleming, Anna Stephenson, brothers, Hal Charles Hughes, Jessie Paul (Pete), daughter, Wanda and stepson, Joey.

He is survived by his soulmate for 28 years, Jean Hughes, stepdaughters, Karen, Julie and Sherry, Stepson, Michael, daughters, Linda Polsgrove and Janie H Rush, Erite Darnell (grandson) and many loved ones.

Mr. Hughes served our Country in the Airforce for a time. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and playing phase 10 cards.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Southern Baptist Church.
