Robert Guye Iii

Robby died peacefully in his sleep on June 16th after a courageous battle with various health issues. He graduated from Harpeth High School in 2007. He played baseball for the Indians for three years. He followed in his Pop Pop’s footsteps with his love for Vandy athletics, especially the Boy’s Baseball Team. He also loved the Atlanta Braves, Oakland Athletics and the Raiders. Over the years, he was employed by Communication Contractors, the Swimming Pool Doctor and RSS Roofing. Robby enjoyed working in his garden and woodworking in his workshop. But most of all, he loved being “Doodle” to his twin nieces.

Robby was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Lloyd Guye, Sr. and his father, Robert Lloyd Guye, Jr and grand-parents George and Dora McGill.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley McGill Guye, his sister, Laura Mai Guye Wilson (Clint) and his endearing twin nieces Hattie Mai Wilson and Greta Kyle Wilson.
