Lenora Vaughn Orth

Lenora "Lee" (Alexander) Orth, age 93, of Nashville, TN, passed away on January 4, 2022.  She was married to Clarence J. Orth and together they shared 53 years, prior to his passing in 2016.

Lee is also preceded in death by her parents; William Oscar and Lenora Vaughn (Balsley) Alexander, daughter; Donna (Parson) Adams and brother; William Oscar Alexander (Jr.).

She is survived by daughter Susan (Terry) Hodges, grandson; Jeremy (Amanda) Newman, granddaughter; Caitlynn (Jeffrey) Barr, great grandsons; Justin and Jackson Newman, great granddaughters; Zoey and Cheyenne Barr and several nieces and a nephew.  Lee was an Executive Secretary to the owners of Standard Candy Co. for many years and was known as a hard worker.  She was a sweet lady who loved her family and her little dog, Chloe.  She took pride in her quilting, the flowers she grew and loved birds of all kinds.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life at 12:00PM at West Meade Fellowship, 277 Old Hickory Boulevard, Nashville, TN. Burial will follow at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Meade Fellowship.
