Jim Houchin

James Francis “Jim” Houchin, 48, passed away on April 25, 2022 at his home in Nashville, Tennessee with his loving family by his side.

Jim was born on January 23, 1974 in San Bernardino, California to the late Richard and Juli Houchin.

Jim was married for 16 years to his sweetheart Tish Houchin whom he adored dearly. He honorably served our country in the Army for three years. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his beloved family and see that they were taken care of. Many of his great passions were riding motorcycles, skateboarding, marksmanship, playing bass guitar, and rescuing cats. Some of his most shining qualities were the way he welcomed and cared for others, his generosity, and his unstoppable sense of humor.

Jim is survived and mourned by his loving wife, Tish; daughter, Fiona; brother Scott Houchin and his family; in-laws Michael and Cindy Yarbrough; two cats, Louie and Little Kitty; as well as innumerable friends he deeply cared for.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Henry Catholic Church on Harding Pike Wednesday, May 11, 2022 starting at 10:00am with a reception to follow.
