Elaine Elliott

Elaine Hansen Elliott, age 80, passed away on September 19, 2021.

Elaine was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her main focus was always putting her family first and providing for them. She was a strong Christian woman and very family oriented. Elaine was a lover of beautiful things such as decorating, fashion, and antiques.  She graduated from New Trier High School in Winnetka, IL, and then continued her education by receiving a bachelor’s degree in education from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX in 1963. She married the love of her life in 1967 in the Winnetka, IL Presbyterian Church. Elaine started her career in education as a second-grade teacher. Upon the birth of children, she retired from education to care for her children.

Preceded in death by parents Emil and Ruth Hansen. Survived by loving husband of 54 years, Lewis Letton Elliott, sons John Hansen Elliott, Stephen Hansen (Shannon) Elliott, daughter Ruth Eleanor (Brian) Bates, grandchildren Faith Elliott, and Michael Elliott.

The family will have private services.
