Charles Sanders

Charles Edwin Sanders of Dickson, Tennessee (formerly from White Bluff and Pegram, Tennessee) passed away at his resident on Sunday, November 14,2021 at the age of 93.

He was a TRUE Christian man and a member of Pegram United Methodist Church.

Charles was proud to have served during the Korean War and was retired after working 40 years from the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie Andrews and father, William H. Sanders; loving foster parents, Suzie and W.O. “Fox” Jackson; and several siblings.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Wardie Bell Greer Sanders; daughter, Susan (Leonard) McKeand; Granddaughter, Bethany (Steven) Anderson; Sister-in-law, Betty Donegan; Brother-in-law, Ross Greer; his faithful fury friend, “Gizmo” and many nieces and nephews.
