Calvin Edward Johnson

Calvin Edward Johnson age 58, of Nashville passed away on January 5, 2022.

Calvin is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Burton Johnson and Sue Logan Johnson, brothers; David Eugene Johnson, Charles Edward Gill, Ronald Johnson, sisters; Brenda Faye Cathey, and Geneva Sue Johnson, nephew; Herbert “Herbie” Wayne Gill, Jr., niece; Elizabeth Sue Thompson, great nephew; Kaigan Gill.

Survived by brother, Wayne (Jane) Gill, sister; Daphne (Slate) Martin, nephews; Danny (La Rayne) Gill, Westley Wayne Biggs (Laura, Faith and Grace Stevens), Eddie (Lisa) Gill, Chris (Sara) Gill, nieces; Kim (Bubba) Knall, Treva (Bill) Miller, great nieces; Ellie Grace Gill, Loralei Gill, Sandy Jo Gill, Jessi Knall, Hayven Knall, Keiera Gill, Kaydence Gill, Presley Miller, Kendall Miller, great nephew; Charlie (Ericha) Gill, Trent Miller, numerous cousins and loved ones.

Calvin was a big Alabama football fan (Roll Tide Roll), Hank Williams fan and NASCAR. He worked for Metro Roofing for over 18 years. The kind words from Metro Roofing: He was a dedicated loyal employee to the company. He was faithful, helpful, and kind. Calvin was loved by all and made many friends throughout the years. He gave the best customer service in Nashville. He started working in the yard/ warehouse in 2004 and moved to counter sales in 2008.

There will be a Memorial Gathering Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 12:30 – 2:30 with a Celebration of Life at 2:30 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
