Born to Matthew Adam Inman and Alsena King Inman Breakfield Jerry was the youngest of 6 children.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Debra, his brother Lewis Inman, his Sisters Christine Keast and Evelyn Barnett, and daughter Regina Nicholson.

He is survived by his sister Betty Weinberger (Cy), brother Jimmy Inman (Mary), daughter Vanessa Snyder, Granddaughters Arielle Carr (Jeff), Aradia Inman, and grandsons Taylor Inman and Blake Taylor.

Jerry grew up on 29th and West End Avenues Nashville across the street from Centennial Park where he and is neighbor buddies played daily at the Parthenon. His first job was at the age of 7 at the Hippodrome Skating Rink putting on key skates and entertaining the crowds with his renown speed and dance skating skills. He attended West End High School and later worked at Ferro Fiberglass Company for many years. Jerry owned a surplus and second-hand store for on Gallatin Road.

Jerry was an avid “deal finder” with his weekly auction visits and estate and garage sale hunts. He never missed his Friday morning Eastside Waffle House breakfasts with friends. He was a natural comedian that kept everyone entertained.

He was an Antique Clock and Watch enthusiast and fixed many a clock or watch that was said that couldn’t be fixed.

Mostly Jerry loved his family, so proud of them and will be so missed by many friends and loved ones.
