Barbara Ann Cagle

Barbara Ann Cagle (Nix) was born on January 27th, 1941, to Geraldine Hill Nix and Willie NIX, in Etheridge, TN. She married Carol E. Cagle on July 16, 1960. Barbara was a graduate of David Lipscomb High School. Barbara and Carol’s daughter, Melissa Ann, was born December 5, 1964. Barbara loved knitting, cross stitching, and camping with Carol, Melissa, and their camping club. Barbara worked in the nursery at Baptist Hospital and then in nursing homes for 27 years, until her retirement.
Barbara was called to heaven at 9:20AM on Thursday, December 30, 2021. She was proceded in death by her mother, Geraldine Nix, her father, Willie Nix, and her daughter, Melissa Ann Prince. Barbara Ann is survived by her husband of 61 years, Carol Eugene Cagle, her chosen daughter, Jenny Lovell, Jenny’s husband, Jake Lovell, Barbara’s and and Carol’s grandson, Noah James Lovell, and their granddaughter, Hope Faith Lovell.  Carol and Barbara are members of Charlotte Heights Church of Christ, of West Nashville.
The Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens, 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN 37221. Visitatation will take place at 12:30 PM- 2:30PM with the funeral following at 2:30PM and the Graveside service at 3:30 PM.
The services will be officiated by Darryl Demonbreum and Josh Barnett.
