Yvonne B. Fowler went to her heavenly home on February 3, 2024, in Knoxville, TN. She was born on May 29, 1926, in Thomas, West Virginia. 

Yvonne is survived by her children, Ellis W. Fowler, Jr., Karen B. (Tom) Veal, Kimberly F. (Ed) Galyon; grandchildren, Matthew (Sara) Galyon, Justin (Nicole) Galyon, Braden (Katherine) Galyon; great grandchildren, Asher Galyon, Sky Galyon, Luke Galyon, Logan Galyon, Payne Galyon, and Aubrie Galyon.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 61 years Ellis W. Fowler, seven brothers and one sister.

One of Yvonne's greatest passions was cooking. She enjoyed sharing recipes and creating meals with those around her. Whether it was camping trips or holiday gatherings, Yvonne's presence always meant an abundance of sausage gravy and sausage pinwheels. 

Beyond the kitchen, Yvonne had a vibrant personality that touched the lives of many. She was caring, supportive, and competitive in everything she undertook. Yvonne's family gatherings were full of laughter and friendly competition as she joined in playing games and cards with her loved ones.

Yvonne had an adventurous spirit and a thirst for life. She found great joy in attending her children's and grandchildren's activities, cherishing every moment spent with them. Family reunions, birthdays, and other gatherings held a special place in her heart as they brought everyone together in celebration.

Traveling allowed Yvonne to explore the world and create lasting memories. She particularly enjoyed camping trips that allowed her to embrace nature's beauty while spending quality time with loved ones. Golfing also occupied a special corner of her heart; it provided an avenue for friendly competition and the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.

Yvonne B. Fowler's life was a testament to love, devotion, and a zest for life that touched all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will forever be remembered for the cherished memories she created with her family and friends. 

There will be private services held at a later date.
