*Yasmin Ariadne del Cueto de Andrade*
October 17, 2012 – October 21, 2026
Yasmin "Yas" Ariadne del Cueto de Andrade, 14, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, just days after her fourteenth birthday.
Yasmin was born in Argentina before living in Brazil for two years. At three, she moved with her family to the US, where she grew up. Fiercely proud to be both Brazilian and Argentinian, she carried both countries with her and dreamed of one day returning to South America to live.
Soccer was her great love. Tapping into her roots, she began playing in middle school and went on to play at Lawson. She took great pride in Argentina’s national team and often joked that Messi was her cousin. She also cheered, loved to travel, and baked the best banana bread.
Yasmin was happy, bright, hilarious, intelligent and opinionated, with a strong sense of justice and deep compassion. She was responsible, hardworking and remarkably mature for her age. Above all, she was kind. Her friends say she made people feel seen and welcomed.
Yasmin is survived by her mother, Tamara del Cueto; her father, Gabriel Andrade; her loving family in Brazil and in Argentina; and the many friends, classmates, and teammates who loved her.
A wake will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:30 PM at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
