Wayne Ketchum

Thomas Wayne Ketchum of Pegram passed away on August 7, 2022 after a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his parents John Malcolm and Emma Margaret Ketchum, brother Bill Ketchum, sister Peggy Toney.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Frances Greer Ketchum, daughter Tiffany Tomlinson, son-in-law Jerry Tomlinson, grandson Jeremy Tomlinson and granddaughter Kierstin Tomlinson. Brothers: Jerry (Trish) Ketchum and Kenny (Sandy) Ketchum, and sisters Nancy Holloway, Sally (Bobby) Winters.

Mr. Ketchum worked in the tool and die trade for over 50 years, retiring from APCOM in 2013. He loved the outdoors and hunting. Most of all he loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family.

Active pallbearers include: Bill Ketchum, Casey Tomlinson, Jeffrey Ketchum, Jeremy Ketchum, McKinley Richardson, Wyatt Hardin.

Honorary pallbearers include: Bobby Ray Winters, Brent Stuart, Brian Milliken, Bryan Keith Toney, Danny Ray Stuart, Mike Lawrence, Phillip Toney, Phil Manners, Troy Toney, Tony Ford, Ray Higdon, Rex Dill, William “Scotty” Scott.

Family would like to offer a special thank you to family friends, Steve and Wanda Hammonds, Jimmy and Ann Ketchum, as well as all of the helpful staff at St Thomas West Hospital.

There will be visitation Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 10:00am ~ 1:00pm with a Celebration of Life at 1:00pm the burial at 2:00 and reception immediately following all at The Pavilion at Harpeth Hills.

In lieu of flowers please make donations in Wayne’s name to Vanderbilt University Children’s heart, Nashville Firefighters box 55 and Pegram Volunteer fire department.
