Virginia I. Curtis Bevill, journeyed to her eternal home on June 23, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on April 23, 1931, in Midway, Tennessee. Virginia embodying a spirit of faith, love, and unwavering dedication throughout her life.
Preceded in death by her 9 siblings.
Virginia is survived by her children Denise (Taylor) Sparks, Bradley Curtis, Beverly Piatt; grandchildren Chris (Emily) Sparks, Kristen Sparks, Brandon Curtis, Nicolas Curtis; great grandchildren Colson Sparks, Cooper Sparks, Kaleyah Coleman, Zaniah Williford as well as numerous nieces, nephews, loved ones and church family.
Virginia dedicated nearly 25 years of her professional life to Beaman Bottling Company, where she was known for her skillful bookkeeping and accounting. Her proficiency with numbers was only matched by her genuine warmth and kindness towards those around her.
Above all, Virginia was a woman of faith, deeply rooted in her beliefs and the community of Woodmont Baptist Church, where she served as the oldest attending member for almost 68 years. Virginia poured her heart into her church, taking every opportunity to nurture and support others, whether through prayer, fellowship, or simply a warm smile.
Nothing brought Virginia more joy than her "Grands and her Great Grands". As a doting grandmother, she embraced the role with open arms, loving fiercely and sharing moments that will be forever cherished. She dedicated time to nurturing these relationships, ensuring they would always feel the comfort of her love and wisdom.
With an infectious spirit, Virginia had a love for feeding people. Her kitchen was a special space where stories were shared, and memories were created. Friends and family alike will forever remember the warmth of her home and the delicious meals she prepared.
Virginia's journey through life was guided by her unshakeable faith, her love for her family, and her contributions to her community. Her legacy will continue to inspire, reminding us all to love deeply, serve generously, and embrace the beauty of life.
Visitation will be Monday, June 30, 2025 from 11:00am ~ 12:00pm with a Celebration of Life at 12:00pm at Woodmont Baptist Church 2100 Woodmont Blvd #1415, Nashville, TN 37215. The burial will take place on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 12:30pm (EDT) Greenelawn Memory Gardens 4159 Asheville Hwy, Greeneville, TN 37743.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Virginias name to Woodmont Baptist church.
