Terry D. England

Terrace Dale “Terry” England, age 79, passed away in Nashville, TN on March 12, 2024. Terry was born in Cheatham County, TN on August 10th, 1944. Terry lived a life filled with love, being outdoors and working hard. Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe England and Vira Hedgepath, siblings, Faye Gray and Ted England, son-in-law, Keith Williams, his loving horse, Charlie and Coondog, Patches.
 

Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Linda England, daughters, Zondra (Greg) Drysdale, Pamela (Greg) England and Tonya (Les) Hinton, grandchildren, Jessi Williams, Corey (Hannah) Williams, Baylee Williams, Modesty (James) Tanksley, Taylor Hinton and Savanna (Terry) Hinton, great grandchildren, Oakley, Presley and Grayson Williams, Ryleigh and Paisley Cantrell, Brantley and Freya Hinton, sister, Brenda Mays France.

 Terry proudly served his country for 4 years in the NAVY as a sailor, stationed overseas in Japan. Beyond his military service, Terry had a wide range of interests. From Coon hunting, bass fishing, horseback riding, golfing, and singing his favorite Elvis’s songs while playing his guitar. In his early years, he raced in motorcross on the West Coast and enjoyed bowling with his wife. Terry did it all and always with a great smile, he lived life to the fullest.
 
 However, Terry found the greatest joy in spending time with his daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His eyes would tear up with pride whenever he was surrounded by his loving family, cherishing every moment spent with them. Papa you will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

There will be a visitation Saturday March 23, 2024 from 9:30 am until the Celebration of Life 11:30 am all held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home located at 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
