Sherry Smith Newton, born on February 26, 1956, in Athens, Alabama, peacefully passed away on October 10, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. She was known for her warmth and vibrant spirit, leaving behind a legacy of love and friendship.

Sherry had a career as an Office Manager in the medical industry. Beyond her professional life, she embraced her hobbies with joy. Sherry loved collecting angels, listening to her radio, and tended to feed animals and watch wildlife. She also was very festive as she took the time to celebrate every holiday, making sure to hand out cards, always adding a little extra cheer to those around her.

Sherry is survived by her brother, Freddy Smith; her sons, Charles Clark and Kevin Clark (Chryseis Catudio); as well as her grandchildren, Cody Clark, Lauren Clark, Thomas Clark, and Kimaley "Smook" Clark. She also leaves behind numerous friends and loved ones who will remember her fondly.

Visitation will be Friday, October 24, 2025, from 12:30pm ~ 1:30pm with the Celebration of life at 1:30pm. The burial will immediate follow all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100 Nashville, TN 37221.
