Sandra "Sandy" Myers was born October 11, 1955 to Wallace and Ruby Spellings. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son: Larry Dale Myers, Jr.

She is survived by her husband: Larry Dale Myers, Sr; two sons: Brad (Katherine) Myers and Wayne Myers; 12 grandchildren: Elijah, Larry III, Marissa, Roxie, Delaney, Faith, Danielle, Trisha, Lucas, Gabe, Israel and Isaiah; and loved by a host of family, friends and neighbors.

Sandy was a retired with 30 years of service as an R.N., F.N.P. and M.S.N. from Metro Health Department and Metro General Hospital. She was a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt School of Nursing. As a mother, she served as a "Scout Mom" to Boy Scout Troop 87 and was Wood Badge Trained in the Middle Tennessee Council.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 20 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Donald Ricketts, Jr. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM and again one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Interment will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
