Samuel Allen McKinney, age 33 of Nashville, TN joined his heavenly Father following a brief illness on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 Sam was a gift from God and is dearly loved by a multitude of family & friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter (Pauline) Dixson & Wilma Lee McKinney.
Survivors include his parents, Jerry Allen McKinney & Kathy McKinney; sister, Sarah Ann McKinney; fiancée, Lauren Cagle; daughter, Piper Elizabeth McKinney; & grandparents, Charles Allen (Frances "Pat") McKinney; & grandmother, Leta Dixson.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm at Christ Presbyterian Church, 2323 Old Hickory Blvd., Nashville, TN 37215, where a celebration of Sam's life will be conducted at 3:00 pm.
