Russell Eugene Shafor of Franklin, Tennessee, passed away at NHC Place Cool Springs on Saturday, June 22, 2019; he was 82 years old.
Russell is preceded in death by his parents Gordon Hugh and Charlotte Federer Shafor; wife of 51 years, Mary Anne Shafor; and brother, Gordon Shafor.
Survivors include daughter, Charlotte Shafor (Michael Vaught); daughter, Martha Weber (Bob); grandchildren, Allen and Eric; nephews, Steve and Mike; and niece Pam Sanborn.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 29, 12:00 - 1:00, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 1:00; all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue; Dallas, TX 75231-4596.
