Rosie Mae Green, known for her kind heart and gentle spirit, passed away on March 12, 2024, in Pegram, TN. She was born on August 18, 1934, in Nashville, TN.

Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, William Noah and Lillie Pearl Hudgins, sons Edward Wayne Green and Mark Allen Green. Siblings Dorothy Nowell, Ruby Grant, William Hudgins, Shirley Henry, Jimmy Hudgins, and JT Hudgins. 

Rosie is survived by her husband, Percy Green, and daughter, Lisa (Billy) McClanahan. She is also survived by grandchildren Matthew (Jennifer) Green, Jessica (Jim) Baliff, Cory McClanahan, Josh (Christi) McClanahan, Amanda (Luke) Moss, Brittany McClanahan (Jeff), Chaz (Julianne) Green, and a special family member, Cathy Connors. She is survived by great-grandchildren Olivia, Gracie, Bella, Hunter, Logan, Marissa, Kirsten, Logan, Alohna, Sawyer, Hudson, Jayden, Luke, Kimber, Wesson, Haelyn, Tucker, and Cheyenne.
 
 Rosie was a remarkable woman who shared 70 beautiful years of marriage with her loving husband. Her exceptional talent for sewing and quilting brought joy to many, as did her delicious pimento cheese, which will be fondly remembered by all her grandchildren. Rosie had a green thumb and took great pride in canning vegetables from her garden, particularly pickles, okra, kraut, and green beans.
 
 Family meant everything to Rosie. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, finding immense joy in their laughter and endless love. Her nature and unwavering support created a strong bond that will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

The visitation for Rosie Mae Green will take place at Harpeth Hills Memory Garden, Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Nashville on March 15, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. This will be followed by a Funeral Service at the same location from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
 
 While we mourn the loss of such a special soul, we also celebrate the legacy of love that Rosie leaves behind. May her memory continue to inspire us all to cherish our loved ones.
