Robert Michael Matus (61)
With great sadness we announce the passing of a one of a kind man.
Robert was born in Warren, PA on May 18, 1962 to Robert L. Matus and Dianne (Seymour) Brown. He was the only child and the pride and joy of his parents.
Robert attended Burford High School (Buford, GA). He joined the Airforce and became an Aircraft Mechanic.
After he served his term with the military he started working for Lockheed (Marietta, GA) as an Electrical Engineer, where he later retired. While working at Lockheed he decided to further his education attending Southern Polytechnic State University (Marietta, GA).
While working for Lockheed he met the love of his life in a fellow coworker, Sheila Sue. They were married for 32 wonderful years before she passed in 2019. They had two sons Kevin and Chris, who were the light of their lives. Robert was a dedicated family man that never missed a ball game and never forgot to wish his mom a happy birthday and Mother's Day.
