Robert Webster Abernathy of Nashville, Tennessee passed away peacefully at home on September 4th., 2023.  He was 60 years old born on August 22, 1963.

Rob was born and raised in Nashville, Tn. was a graduate of Battle Ground Academy and attended the University of Alabama where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.  He was the owner of Montgomery County Recycling in Clarksville, Tn.

Though known for his wit, wisdom, loyalty and generosity, he was also a man that found joy in the simple things.  His interests were numerous but Alabama football, motorcycle riding, and hunting were high on his list.  He offered kindness and hospitality not just to family but to his many cherished friends.

Rob is preceded in death by his parents, James David Abernathy and Erin Cantey Abernathy. Brother James David Abernathy, Jr.  He is survived by his wife Katherine D. Abernathy, children, Lauren Hooper, (Carlos), Jack Allen, (Catie), Ben Allen, (Ashley) Joe Allen, Grace Abernathy (Chase).  13 grandchildren, his sister Mary Jane Baird (David), sister-in-law Lee Anne Abernathy along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
