Rob Seabrooks

Robert “Rob” Valentine Seabrooks, age 89, from Rochester, NY passed away peacefully at home in Franklin, TN on October 29, 2023. Born on November 10, 1933, to the late Walter and Edith Seabrooks. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Joan and Sandy, brothers, Chuck, and Roger.

Survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Carolyn Seabrooks, son, Jeffrey A. Seabrooks, daughters, Lynn S. Hutchinson (Jeffrey "Hutch") and Beth Ann (Chad) Jones, grandchildren, Lauren Davis, Scott Seabrooks, Alec and Zachary Kasper, sisters, Barbara, and Gail, several loving nieces and nephews, and his loving fur babies, Finney, Rocky and Blacky.

Rob served the US ARMY for 6 years as a Specialist E4 where he was selected as Fort Bliss Soldier of the year in 1957. His dedication to serving his country was truly commendable. He graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY with a degree in Mechanic Engineering with a career in HVAC industry. For several years, he worked for Wing Company, Carrier Corporation and Trane Company. His commitment to excellence and exceptional work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues.

Outside of work and Military service, Rob loved watching OHIO State Football play. A man of diverse interests and passions, he found solace in fishing and watching Turner Classic Movies. He also had a green thumb for yard work, gardening and lawncare while riding his beloved tractor.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday November 3, 2023, at 11:00 am located at the Peace Garden at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
