Richard Douglas Tidwell, age 70, of Nashville Tennessee proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. After returning home, he started a career in the mattress industry.
Richard was special not only to have his birth family but also his family from the Tennessee Orphans Home. Many he continued to have lifelong relationships.
He will be missed by his son Christopher Tidwell and grandson Beckham, daughter Tara Tidwell, and son Bryan Tidwell and granddaughter Harper, who was the light of his life.
He affected the lives of his many friends and loving family including: Larry (Debbie), Shelia, Monk, Bethany, Brandy, Tasha (Nathan), Landon (Meghan), Brittney (Jacob), Michael (Jessica), Megan (Marquis), Zack (Jaylyn), Punkinhead, Gabe, Kole, Gianni, Gideon, Jaylynn, and Titus.
