Obituary

Nashville - Richard “Todd” Bradley, 61 years old, passed away on April 30, 2026, at Alive
Hospice after several months in the Hospital following bypass surgery which resulted in
many unexpected setbacks. He fought hard, supported by his faith and the love of those
around him. Todd was born on January 3, 1965, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was one of the
few who were born and raised and continued his life in West Nashville.

Todd is survived by his loving wife, Tracy; his son, Dylan (Kassidy); his daughter, Leah
(Tanner); and his beloved grandson, Silas, who knew him as “Purple” or “Pawpaw.” He is
also survived by his brother and best friend Kenny (Pam); friend Randy “Banks”, along with
many in-laws, nieces and nephews and very dear to his heart were his close friends, you
know who you are. He cared very deeply for the bonds and memories he had with his
family and friends over the years. Many cherished stories.

He was preceded in death by his parents Billy Joe and Charlotte Mayo Bradley, his brother
Karl, as well as many dear friends to include Porter Vanatta, and Steve Polk who were like
brothers to him.

Todd was amongst the last graduating class of Cohn High School in 1983. This is where he
met the love of his life and wife Tracy. He will be remembered for his deep love and
unwavering dedication to his family and friends. Known for his kindness and quick wit, Todd
always had a joke to share and a way of making others feel welcome. He was a natural
leader—an inspiration, teacher and loyal friend—who approached everything in life with
determination, always going above and beyond. He met every challenge with confidence
and ingenuity. He also took great pride in restoring his 1970 Oldsmobile 442 to perfection, a
true reflection of his craftsmanship and dedication. His spirit and enthusiasm were
contagious, drawing people to him wherever he went. A man of remarkable skill. There was
nothing he couldn’t do, except he would tell you, “I can fix anything but a broken heart”.

Above all, Todd will be remembered for his laughter, generosity, and the lasting impact he
had on all who knew him. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a
brother in Christ.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Harpeth Hills
Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m., with burial at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations in his honor may be made to Alive Hospice or
Church of Christ Disaster Relief Effort.
