Preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Norma Smith; granddaughter, Aimee Kendall.
Survived by his wife, Anita Smith; children, Winsome Smith, Nathan Smith (Joy) and Jewel Gill (DeWayne); grandchildren, Christopher and Stephen James, Gabrielle, Alicia and Bethany Gill; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Mooneyham (Frank), Polly Raines (Fred) and Helen Hedrick (David).
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. on Sunday May 15, 2016 at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m., 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville.
