Rebekah Perry Baylor, 89, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, John E. Baylor, her parents, Dora and Edward D. Perry, and a grandson-in-law, Steven Logan.

She is survived by her two children, Mindy Balch and John E. Baylor, Jr. (Mary Ann), a granddaughter, Katherine Logan and two great-grandchildren, James Baylor Logan and Aubrey Renee Logan.

Rebekah was an avid collector, with a special love for Department 56 Snow Village pieces. What began as a collection grew into something truly remarkable, eventually filling over three rooms in her home. Each building and scene was carefully chosen and displayed, creating a miniature world that reflected the joy she found in collecting and preserving things that were meaningful to her.

Her love of collecting extended well beyond her Snow Village. Rebekah enjoyed collecting decorative plates and pieces featuring everything from calendars and seasonal designs to the timeless artwork of Norman Rockwell. Her collections were more than simply items, they reflected her interests, personality, and appreciation for the stories and memories found in the things she loved.

Rebekah was also a talented seamstress who loved to sew. Over the years, she often made her own outfits, putting her creativity and personal touch into the clothes she wore. When her daughter was little, Rebekah lovingly made outfits for her as well, creating pieces that became part of the memories of her childhood.

Whether she was adding another special piece to one of her collections, arranging her beloved Snow Village, or sitting at her sewing machine creating something with her own hands, Rebekah found happiness in creativity and in making things special. Those details were part of what made her who she was, and they will remain treasured memories for the family and friends who knew and loved her.

The family cordially invites relatives and friends to visit on Thursday, October 1st, 2026, from 9:30am until the time of the graveside service at 10:30am at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 9090 TN-100 in Nashville.
