Reba Lampley

Reba Lampley of Fairview passed away on December 1, 2023 at the age of 67. She was born on October 25, 1956 to Marion and Martha Capley and was the youngest of 4 sisters.

Reba attended Fairview High School where she met her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, David.  They were married on February 4, 1978 and had a total of 51 wonderful years together.  Reba had 2 children, Justin and Sarah.

Reba’s love for her husband and children was evident in her selfless efforts to make them smile.  She always sought to see the good in everything, rarely uttering a discouraging word and instead choosing to encourage those around her.  She enjoyed tending to her flowers, feeding hummingbirds, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and her three sisters: Linda Adair (Ron), Betty Watts (Bill), and Rachel Lance (Norris).

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband David, her children Justin Lampley (Corinne) and Sarah Collins (Jon), and 4 grandchildren, Jon David, Elijah, Lylah, and Melodie.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lieper’s Fork Church of Christ in Reba’s honor.  Donations can be mailed to 4207 Old Hillsboro Rd, Franklin, TN 37064.
