Ralph Edward Jenkins, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully on November 21, 2023, in Burns, TN. He was born on March 14, 1948, in Nashville, TN to his parents Preston and MaryRene Jenkins. Ralph's passion for life and unwavering dedication to his family and career made him a cherished individual in the hearts of all who knew him.

Preceded in death by his parents, Preston and MaryRene Jenkins and grandson, Landon Jenkins.

Survived by his loving wife of 53 years Linda Jenkins; children, Jennifer (Chris) Primm, Brian (Sarah) Jenkins; grandchildren, Jade Jenkins, Connor Jenkins, Landon Jenkins, Sean Jenkins, Gracie Haynes; great grandchild, Sofia Navarrete; sister, Janice (Chuck) LeGrand, numerous friends, and loved ones.

Ralph attended Hume Fogg High School in Nashville where he laid the foundation for a lifetime of success. After completing his education, he embarked on a remarkable career with Metro Water that spanned an impressive 37 years. His unwavering commitment and dedication earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ralph served our country with honor and pride as part of the Navy. His time in the military shaped his character, instilling in him values that he carried throughout his life.

Ralph's hobbies and interests were as diverse as they were enjoyable. He found great joy in tinkering with his street Rod 1939 Plymouth. When he wasn't behind the wheel of this stunning machine, Ralph could often be found cruising around on his trusty lawn mower - delighting in giving his grandchildren thrilling rides through their yard. His collection of pocketknives was a testament to his passion for collecting unique treasures. Additionally, Ralph cherished every opportunity to attend car shows and bask in the beauty of classic automobiles. But above all else, he found solace in being outside and simply reveling in nature's wonders alongside his beloved wife.

Linda Jenkins - Ralph's loving wife of 53 years - supported him unwaveringly throughout their journey together. Theirs was a bond forged in love and strengthened by the experiences they shared. Through all the ups and downs of life, Linda provided a constant source of love, comfort, and inspiration. Their love story is one for the ages, a testament to the power of commitment and dedication.

Services to honor Ralph's life will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home in Nashville, TN. Visitation will take place on Monday, November 27th, 2023, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, and on Tuesday, November 28th, 2023, from 11:30am to 1:30pm with a Celebration of Life will follow at 1:30pm.
