Patricia Harless Zinn went home to be with the Lord on September 3, 2022. Patty was born in Logan, West Virginia, the daughter of Virgil and Marie Harless. Patty had a brother, David Harless, who died when he was sixteen, and an older sister Phyliss Hanson who preceded her in death as well as her parents, Virgil and Marie Harless.
She is survived by her husband, David, three children: Amy (David) Spodeck, Andy (Brandi) Zinn and Adam (Laura Lee) Zinn. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren: Sam Spodeck, Sarah Spodeck, Jack Zinn, Emma Kate Zinn, Caroline Zinn, Sophie Spodeck, Annabelle Zinn, Luke Zinn, Benjamin Zinn, Claire Zinn and Mary Lee Zinn. Also surviving her are Anne Ridens, her niece, and Chelsea Ridens, her great niece.
Patty was a wonderful wife, a caring and loving mother and grandmother, and a faithful friend. She had a servant’s heart and loved caring for children. She oversaw the baby nursery at Christ Fellowship in Franklin for about twenty years and was often called the “Baby Whisperer” because of how comforting she could be to babies and other young children.
There will be visitation Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 11:00am ~ 1:00pm with a Celebration of Life at 1:00pm all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
