Patricia Ann Whaley Fisher Hess, a cherished soul, was born on July 1, 1942, illuminating the lives of everyone who knew her. She passed away peacefully on September 26, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and love.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas Whaley, and Edna Williams; brother, Gary Whaley; and husbands, James Ronnie Fisher, and Wayne Hess
Patricia is survived by her son, Stuart (Candy) Fisher; daughter, Joyce Fisher (Jeff) Wingo; grandchildren, Megan (Kevin) Snider, Andrew (Nikki) Fisher, Quentin (Tera) Manning, and Ashley (Cameron) Burton; great-grandchildren, Tessa, Ryleigh, and Berkley; sister, Wanda Warren.
Patricia grew up in Nashville and proudly graduated from Bellevue High School.
Patricia's diligent nature defined her life; she was incredibly hardworking, pouring her heart into everything she did. Her passion for the outdoors was evident in her beautiful garden, where she cultivated vibrant flowers and canned the bounty of her labor. She was a laborer and zealous; truly the definition of a Proverbs 31 Woman. She provided for her family and worked vigorously. The essence of summer lingered in her beloved green beans and tomatoes, generously shared with family and friends.
Her love for camping brought her joy beneath the open sky, where she often found solace and inspiration. Patricia's affection for dogs mirrored her warm heart, creating bonds that filled her life with unconditional love and laughter.
In addition to her hands-on pursuits, Patricia was a gifted musician, playing the organ and singing at church, sharing her talent and devotion with her church community. This dedication not only enriched her life, but also touched many others. She will be deeply missed.
Proverbs 31: 30-31
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
Her services will be held on October 1, 2024, at the Harpeth Hills Memory Garden, Funeral Home, & Cremation Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The visitation will take place from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM, followed by a graveside service commencing at 2:30 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Patricia's life as they remember the gentle spirit who radiated kindness and joy.
