Nellie Viola Garton Anderson of Fairview, Tennessee died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, Tennessee; she was 79 years old.
Mrs. Anderson is preceded in death by her parents Virgil Garton and Lena Whitfield Garton; sisters Elizabeth Garton, Louise Reynolds, and Lucille England; brothers Leon, James, and Ed Garton; sons Steven, and Jimmy Anderson; and great grandson Mason Gilliam.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband of 63 years, Mr. Gilbert Anderson; daughters Cheryl (Norman) Givens, Marlena (Ray) Lovato; son Floyd (Becky) Anderson; grandchildren Gwen Givens Martin, Travis (Annette) Givens, Dewanna (Tracy) Gilliam, Nick Anderson, Steven Anderson, Samantha Anderson, Marcus (Candice) Glaser; great grandchildren Delsie, Dakota, Spencer and Marshal Gilliam, Cameron Martin, Riley Anderson, and John Gilbert Glaser.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 14, 2:00 - 8:00 pm; and Monday, February 15, 11:00 - 1:00 with a Celebration of Life beginning at 1:00 pm; all at the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. www.harpethhills.com
