Myra Spence

Myra Spence, age 73, passed away on August 16, 2022.

Myra was a loving, proud, and devoted aunt. She was tender-hearted, sentimental, compassionate, and very generous. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and visit with her friends and family. She enjoyed watching Westerns and pro-football and going on road trips. She was a faithful member of the Jackson Temple church of Christ in Burns, TN. She grew up in West Nashville, graduated from Hillwood High School, and lived for many years in Fairview before moving to Burns. She worked from a young age, beginning at AT&T in the 70s, and held various jobs from selling insurance to working in debt collection from which she retired in 2012.

She is survived by her nieces, Toreta (Brandon) Miller and Jeana (Jeffrey) Odom, nephew, Paul Lee, great-nieces, Laney Miller and Rachel Miller, great-nephew, Alex Miller, and sister-in-law, Bridget Lee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lerman and Pauline Lee, and her beloved brother, Larry Lee.

There will be visitation August 19, 2022 from 11:00am – 1:00pm with a chapel service at 1:00pm, all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, Nashville, TN.
