Cates, Minnie Lee King Wells – “Miss Buddy” 

8/21/1938 – 8/22/2023  

Fiercely independent, Miss Buddy mystified all that knew her by bravely battling cancer since 2006.  She has now joined her many family members in Heaven--including her grandson, Ryan.  She leaves behind a host of beloved family members and dear friends.  Miss Buddy loved The Lord, her family, friends, and over the years; she especially loved her time and fellowship playing bridge.  A special thank you to Dr. Brian Hemphill and Alive Hospice for their excellent care.   

A visitation will be held at Brentwood Baptist Church (7777 Concord Rd 37027) from 10 am until noon on Saturday, 8/26/2023, with a celebration of life service to follow. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Alive Hospice (1718 Patterson St. Nashville 37203) and/or Glacier Conservancy’s “Trees of Remembrance” Program – www.glacier.org (C/O Kristine P. O. Box 2749 Columbia Falls, MT 59912).
