Mildred Louise Matthews Teal

Mildred Louise Matthews Teal- Age 91, of Nashville, passed away November 7, 2021.

Mildred was a fine Christian woman that live her life as a testament to serving Christ. Also, she was a member of Westwood Baptist Church for many years. She loved to bowl, which she did until the age of 83. She also enjoyed decorating cakes and most of all cooking Sunday dinners for her entire family. She was a retiree from Bell South after many years of dedicated service.

Preceded in death by her husband and love of her life for almost 60 years Leslie Clair Teal; parents Odas Matthews and Amanda Patterson West; siblings Imo Maroska, J.W. Matthews, Carsie Lee Matthews and Vernon Matthews. Survived by her son Mike Teal (Joan); daughters Gail Bagwell (Nathan) and Susan Dies (Buster); grandchildren Laura Steele (Sammy), Ray Wilson, Jr. (Lori), Lizz Paille (Josh); great-grandchildren Allison Steele True (Steven), Libbie & Anna Kate Wilson, Noah & Abram Paille.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Alive Hospice or The Alzheimer’s Association.

A Graveside Service will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, November 10th at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 12:00pm-2:00pm, Wednesday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN, 37221, harpethhills.com, 615-646-9292
