Michael Gee

Michael Gee, passed away on January 22, 2024, in Clarksville, Tennessee. He was born February 3, 1980, in Bucyrus, Ohio.

Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Edith Ledbetter, Thomas Keating, paternal grandparents Alma Wilds, James Wilds and father James Schwab Jr. 

He is survived by his mother, Angela Schwab, brother Josh (Breanne) Schwab, sisters Melissa Mills and Brandy Schwab; stepbrothers James Brian Schwab and Jeremy (Monica) Schwab, several nieces, and nephews: Laithen Schwab, Kaleb Schwab, Vander Green, KJ Mills, Shayden Estep, Brooklyn Dameron, Aubree Schwab, Hannah Ramey, and Breanna Mills as well as numerous loved ones and friends. 

Michael graduated from Fairview High School. During his time there, he showcased his athletic abilities as an All-State TN kicker in football. 

Michael worked at the Austin Powder Company for many years. His hard work and commitment left a lasting impact on both his colleagues and the company itself. 

Outside of work, he had a variety of hobbies and interests. He adored his American Boxer dogs. Michael also enjoyed cooking, he found delight in experimenting with different flavors and ingredients while creating delicious meals. Additionally, he enjoyed playing video games and spending time outdoors, appreciating the beauty of nature.

One of Michael's defining qualities was his profound love for helping others. Whether it was lending a hand or offering a listening ear, he always went above and beyond to support those in need. He had a compassionate heart that touched the lives of many.

In his free time, Michael engaged in trading things on marketplaces—a hobby that allowed him to pursue unique finds. Furthermore, he shared moments of laughter and fun with friends over drinks, appreciating the simple joys of life.

In mourning the loss of Michael, we remember not only the remarkable individual he was but also the impact he had on our lives. His compassionate nature and unwavering support for others will forever be cherished by those who had the honor of calling him family or friend.

The funeral services to celebrate Michael's life will be on Friday, February 2, 2024. Visitation will begin at 11:30pm ~ 2:15pm with a Graveside service to start at 2:30pm all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 highway 100 Nashville, TN 37221.

During this time of grief and loss, we find comfort in the memories of Michael's life well-lived. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends, urging them to hold onto those precious memories that provide comfort during this difficult time.
