Maurice Edward Winters of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away at St. Thomas Midtown on Friday, January 04, 2019; he was 79 years old.
Mr. Winters graduated from Cumberland High School in 1958, and worked for Baird Ward/Quebecor for 35 years. Perhaps best known for being a lifelong Vanderbilt football fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine and Hilary Winters; daughter, Debbie Winters Rogers; brother, Mike Winters; and sister, Sharol Winfrey.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Fairy Anderson Winters; son, Eddie (Kristen) Winters; daughters, Barbara Patton (Jon Preuett), and Elizabeth (Darin) Elkins; grandsons, Ryan Rogers, Austin, Tye and Ross Patton; great grandchildren Ivy and Bradley Rogers; sister, Helen Mayfield; son-in-law, Ron Rogers (Crystal); and many beloved sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 12, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm with a Celebration of Life beginning at 1:00; all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
