Marshall Lee Carter, Jr. of Kingston Springs, Tennessee, died at his residence on Tuesday, October 17, 2017; he was 74 years old.

Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his parents Marshall Lee Carter, Sr. and Ruby Lee Murphy; daughter Kimberly Irene Carter; sisters JoAnn Heath and Sharon Gillihan; brothers J.D. Carter and Jackie Carter.

Mr. Carter is survived by his wife of 27 years Mrs. Wanda Carter; daughter Marschella June Carter; Son Marshall Lee Carter, III (Holly); son Michael Shawn Carter (Jennifer); Daughter Lisa Kay Griffin (Dan); son Christopher Michael Crips (Christy Dawn); brother Jimmy Carter (Theresa); brother Phillip Carter (Pam); sister Judy Hodges (James); sister Marilyn Bellamy; sister Robin Harper; sister Betty Gail Martin (Tracy); sister Gloria Jean Stone (Harold); sixteen Grandchildren and twelve Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, October 20, 2017 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., and Saturday from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life beginning Saturday 1:00; all at the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
