Marjorie L. Cassell

Mrs. Marjorie L. Cassell age 92, of Nashville, TN. passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022.

Marjorie was born in Nashville, TN. on February 27, 1930 to the late Buford Claiborne Green and Etta Carney Green. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Cassell, sisters, Anna Ruth Hogue, Rose Marie Gentry, Evelyn Ardele Woods, brothers, Buford C. Green, Jr. and Charles Haynie Green.

She was a graduate of Litton High School in Nashville, TN. She was a member for many years of the Inglewood United Methodist Church in Nashville. She worked twenty-five years for Harvey’s Department store first as Personal Director then as Merchandising Manager.

She is survived by three sons, Joel Alan (Joni) Pepper, Franklin, TN., Mark Jarrell (Michelle) Pepper, Brentwood, TN., and Timothy Kent Pepper, Nashville, TN., grandchildren, Allison Marie (Finn) Buckley, Franklin, TN., Britney Jil Pepper, Aubry, TX., Melinda Kenzey (Joel) Patterson, Cleburne, TX., Christopher Mark (Kelly) Pepper, Franklin, TN., Matthew Scott Pepper, Dallas, TX., Nicole Rachel (Matt) Yurjevich, Franklin, TN., and Blake Harris Reynolds, Franklin, TN., great grandchildren, Thomas Porter Moore, Cleburne, TX., Wyatt Ian Buckley, Franklin, TN., Miles Finn Buckley, Franklin, TN., Silke Lorelai Hjelmgren, Aubrey, TX., Freja Claire Hjelmgren, Audrey, TX., James Christopher Pepper, Brentwood, TN, Patrick Thomas Pepper, Brentwood, TN, and Giovanni Enzo Yurjevich, Franklin, TN., sister, Bonnie Claire Strickland, Nashville, TN., and eight nieces and nephews.

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one!

Visitation with the family will begin on Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm also on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 10:00 am until service time  at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville, TN. All arrangements under the direction of Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, Nashville, TN.
