Marjorie Bain

Marjorie Ann Baker Bain age 89, passed away on July 8, 2022. Preceded in death by her parents Frank and Eloise Baker.

Survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Charles Bain, daughter; Carol (Kevin) Kelly, son; Scott Bain, grandsons; Graham Kelly, and Christopher Kelly.

Marjorie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Marjorie was valedictorian of her class at Burton School, National Honor Society at Hillsboro High School, and received her B.A. degree, cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.  Marjorie enjoyed sewing, gardening and playing bridge with her friends. She loved animals, especially dogs, cats, and birds. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them. Marjorie was a woman of God and an active member from the age of six years old at The Second Presbyterian Church in Nashville.  At Second Presbyterian, she was active with the Women of the Church and served on the Session.  Marjorie was an active member of Chapter N, P.E.O. Sisterhood. She participated in volunteer work with various organizations.

Visitation will be Saturday July 16,  2022 from 11:00am ~ 1:00pm with a Celebration of Life at 1:00pm all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
