Mrs. Marie Hutcherson of Primm Springs, Tennessee, died at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville on Thursday, May 24, 2018; she was 87 years old.
Marie Hutcherson, an outspoken, opinionated, fun loving person was the proud owner/operator, along with her husband Carlton, of Hutch's County Store located on Hwy 100, Fairview, Tennessee for over 15 years. Hutch's was a favorite location for a bologna sandwich, sausage biscuit, of just to sit around and talk.
Marie was known for her cooking. She loved to make cakes for charity benefits and once brought in $300 for a coconut and sour cream cake.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents Samuel "Bug" Nalls and Lizzie Proctor Nalls; husband of 50+ years Carlton Hutcherson; brothers Jack, Vernon "Toy", and Jimmy Nalls; sisters Lola "Mutt" Roberts, Nellie "Cindy" Hughes, and Gracie Wilsford.
Marie is survived by sisters Judy Boykin and Catherine Rennick; numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews; special friends Sterling Hutcherson, Brenda Baily, Paulette Cooper and family, Brenda Sweeney and family.
Visitation will be Monday, May 28, 4:00 - 8:00 pm, and again Tuesday from 9:00 - 10:00 am, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 10:00; all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
