Madeline Rotier "Snookie" Holden

Born in Nashville, TN September 14, 1914, Died June 26,2014.

Predeceased by parents Mattie D. Hostettler Rotier and John Paul Rotier; sisters Frances Perkerson, Tommie Smith, & Anna Johnson, & brother, Johnny Rotier. She & her husband Paul W. Holden, who died in 1982, were married for forty years.

Survived by children John Paul (Sandra) Holden, Carol Ann (Mac) Boswell, & Sue (Carl) Wood, 8 grandchildren 13 great grandchildren, & one great great grandchild; sister-in-law, Evelyn Rotier. Interests include knitting afghans for all her family members, especially her grandchildren.

Her life revolved around cooking & sharing her wonderful recipes. She read her many cookbooks as if they were novels. Grandsons & great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Family visitation Friday, June 27 from 6-8 pm and Saturday 9-10 a.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with graveside service to follow.
