Lucille Waters, a beloved friend and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on 11, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on October 18, 1941, Lucille filled her years with warmth, laughter, and countless memories that have left a mark on all who knew her.
Lucille is preceded in death by her parents, Ladimer and Victoria Svadba.
Lucille is survived by her loving husband of nearly 60 years, Jim Waters; sons, James Jr. “Jim” (Ann) Waters, and Gary (Malee) Waters; and grandchildren, Ben and Sydney.
Lucille had a knack for finding treasures in the most unexpected places, a love born out of many joyous days spent at yard sales. It was during these adventures that she discovered not only unique items but also the joy of connecting with others. Her enthusiasm and appreciation for the simpler things in life made her a joy to be around.
A significant chapter in Lucille's life began when she met Jim while they were growing up. At first, Lucille was just “Jack’s Sister,” but they started writing letters back and forth and the rest is history. They started dating while Jim was serving in the Air Force. Their introduction blossomed into a lifelong friendship that eventually transformed into a beautiful romance. Together, they created a tapestry of shared experiences, laughter, and love that served as an inspiration to all fortunate enough to witness their bond.
Lucille Waters leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, and joy. While her presence will be deeply missed, her laughter and spirit will continue to resonate in our hearts forever. She will be deeply missed.
