Linda McCord, a cherished beautician, loving mother, and devoted friend, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, in Dickson, Tennessee. Born on August 14, 1948, in Nashville, TN, Linda brought joy to everyone who crossed her path. Her warm smile and caring nature made her a beloved figure not only in her family but also within the community.

Throughout her career as a beautician, Linda touched many lives. Her passion for her work was evident, and she took great pride in making others feel beautiful inside and out. Linda's artistic flair and attention to detail shone through in every haircut, style, and color she created, leaving a mark that extended far beyond the salon.

Linda was known for her adventurous spirit, which came alive in her love for shopping and dining out. She cherished her regular outings with loved ones, where laughter and bonding over delicious meals formed precious memories. Every moment spent with her family was a treasure, as she nurtured those relationships with unwavering love and commitment.

Linda's family includes her beloved daughter, Jennifer McCord Nelson, who carries forward her legacy of kindness. She is also survived by her mother, Mary Aileen Bibee, her supportive sister, Randy Smith, and her caring sisters, Tina Clause and Wanda Oliphant. Linda was a proud grandmother to Kayla Love, whose life she illuminated with joy, as well as a delighted great-grandmother to TJ, Isaac, and Ella Love, who knew her affection deeply.

Linda will be fondly remembered by her best friend, Jackie Pulley Swick, whose shared adventures and heartfelt conversations brought them endless joy throughout the years.

The family mourns not only Linda's passing but also honors her memory alongside her late siblings, brothers James Earl Putman and William "Bubba" Putman, and sister Shirley Ann Smith. Their legacy of love and support continues to resonate through those who were blessed to know them.

A visitation will be held on June 30, 2025, from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM at Harpeth Hills Memory Garden, Funeral Home, & Cremation Center in Nashville, TN. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at 1:30 PM, with burial services immediately following at 2:30 PM. Family and friends are invited to come together, share their love for Linda, and celebrate the beautiful life she led.
