Linda Sue James, died Sunday, April 28, 2024, in Nashville. She was born on March 15, 1938, in McMinnville, Tennessee to Jesse R. and Opal (Hobbs) James. She is survived by her brother, Glenn (Audrey) James and nephew, Adam (Julie) James.
Linda graduated from Grundy County High School, Erlanger Nursing School in Chattanooga, TN with an RN degree, and later received her Nurse Practitioner degree. Her young career was at Whitwell Hospital, and later moved to Nashville where she spent twenty-nine years at the Nashville Veterans Administration Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 10:30am with Pastor Kevin Ulmet of Nashville First Church of the Nazarene officiating.
