Linda Lou Gamblin Arnold

Linda Lou Gamblin Arnold, born January 6, 1946, in Steele, Missouri, passed away on October 27, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. She was the beloved daughter of Lessie Mae and James Byrd Gamblin, both deceased. Linda was preceded in death by her siblings, Sue (German) Carlisle, Joyce (James) Terry, Jones Gamblin, and her faithful companions Lulu and Reed. She was also preceded by her spouse, Kenneth Wayne Arnold.

Linda is survived by her son, Kenneth Shane Arnold (Brian), of Nashville, TN.

A proud graduate of Perry County High School, Class of 1964, Linda was an active member of The Bellevue Baptist Church in Nashville, TN, where she participated in the “Ruth Class” Ladies Sunday School. Her faith and fellowship were central to her life.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 31, 2025 from 10am to 12pm at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN 37221 . A private burial will take place at Leeper Cemetery, Leeper St, Lobelville, TN 37097.

Linda’s family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the staff of Bethany Center for Rehabilitation and Healing, and Aveanna Hospice, for their compassionate care over the past year. Special thanks are extended to the sisters of the Ruth Class and members of Bellevue Baptist Church for their endless prayers, calls, visits, and gifts, as well as to the Natchez Pointe Family for their love and support.

Linda’s life was guided by faith, love, and kindness. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
