Mrs. Lillian Bernice Mangrum Shoptaw of Nashville, Tennessee died Monday, January 5, 2015 at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville; she was 87 years old.
Mrs. Shoptaw was preceded in death by her parents Mr. Carl Dan and Mrs. Mildred Shaw O'Steen; husband Arthur Leroy Mangrum; son Arthur Leroy Mangrum Jr. "June Bug"; grandson Paul Wayne Story Jr.; and granddaughter Jennifer Lynn Mangrum Miller.
Mrs. Shoptaw is survived by daughter Linda Haley; son Roy Dale Mangrum; grandchildren Amy Story, Keith Mangrum, Kevin Mangrum, Jeff Mangrum (Traci), and Roy Mangrum Jr. (Kathy); several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; daughters-in-law Sherry Mangrum, and Jan Mangrum Gates; and brother Carl B. O'Steen.
Visitation for Mrs. Shoptaw will be Wednesday, January 7 from 2:00 - 8:00 pm and again Thursday from 10:30 - 11:30 am with a funeral service beginning at 11:30 am. Burial will be at the Scott Cemetery in Kingston Springs, Tennessee.
