Lewis Elliott

Lewis Letton Elliott, age 83, of Nashville, TN, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2023. Preceded in death by wife, Elaine Hansen Elliott, parents, Frederick and Helen Fae Elliott and sister, Freddie Fae Hill.

Survived by sons, John Hansen Elliott, Stephen Hansen (Shannon) Elliott, daughter, Ruth Eleanor (Brian) Bates, grandchildren, Faith Elliott, Michael Elliott, and Eleanor Bates.

Lewis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. In 1967 he married the love of his life in the Winnetka, IL, Presbyterian Church. A graduate of the University of Texas, he worked as a credit manager for Alcoa for many years before retirement. Lewis was a hard worker and a self-made man. He loved all things that involved politics and finance. Most of all he loved his family and was a devoted man of faith.

The family will have private services.
