Katie Whitaker, age 74 of Pegram, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 30, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.
Survivors include her loving & devoted husband of 55 years, Jimmy Whitaker; sons, Kenneth Walter Whitaker (Sonia) and Kevin James Whitaker (Penny); four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Walter C Williams (Wava), Gloria Chambliss (Carl), Toby Whitley, Robert Williams & Dennis Williams (Karen); multiple nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of Katie's life will be conducted on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 10:00 am with an hour visitation prior to service.
Pallbearers will be Nelson Chambliss, Terry Whitley, Tracy Williams, Rick Williams & Samuel Bruce.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Booker & Stephen Williams.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Fund in loving memory of Katie L. Whitaker.
